The Journey Continues

Well, here I am starting over… website wise. A new start can be exciting!  A fresh slate.

If truth be told, I was not excited about starting up an author page. I just want to write. Website design is exhausting. But it was time. Probably past time, actually. I recently attended the American Christian Fiction Writers conference, which meant I needed business cards.

I had no choice but to put my other website on them.

“Hi, I’m a writer, trying to publish my historical fiction novel. Oh, my website?”

Super long. And not really the kind of website an aspiring author needs.

Word to the wise: if you’re attending a writer’s conference, get business cards. And bite the bullet, get the website you really need in the works from the start.

On this new website I will share fun historical facts as I’m researching, the books I’m reading, the fun (and not fun) moments in this journey, and the odd devotional. Because I just love writing devotionals.

If you want to know a great way to help me as a writer, please subscribe by email!  Publishers love to know that writers have a following, and especially they want to know how many emails a writer has on their list. I plan to send out a newsletter or along those lines every month or two or three… 🙂
