A Christian Fiction Fan’s Gift Guide!
Whether you’re looking for Christmas gift ideas for a Christian Fiction reader on your list or pursuing book titles for your own TBR, I’ve got you. There’s so many fantastic books out there! Here are some of my favorites, not all from 2026, as well as what I’m reading right now!

1. I read Beyond the Clouds by Elizabeth Camden earlier this year and it’s fantastic. I learned a lot too, and as a historical romance fan, I was gripped. Such a unique WW1 story.
2. Sarah Sundin writes fantastic historical romance. Mists over the Channel Islands is set in WWII. SO GOOD.
3. But I have to share my favorite Sarah Sundin novel… When Twilight Breaks. I really enjoy rereading this one.
4. Julia Monroe Begins Again by Rebekah Millet is Christian contemporary romance, so funny, so heartfelt, full of Louisiana charm and has a 40-year-old heroine. LOVE this one and its sequel, Kate Landry Has A Plan.
5. The Lawyer and the Laundress by Christine Hill Suntz is an intriguing marriage of convenience novel set in Canada in 1837. Love this one.
6. It’s hard to pick a favorite Rachel Scott McDaniel novel, but The Red Canary is in my top three. Your historical romance reader in the family would thank you for this one.
I need to read this one again…
7. OH MY WORD! Birds on a Wire definitely needs a spot on this list. It’s for sure my favorite Katie Powner novel (and she’s super talented with so many fantastic books to her name). She guest posted on my blog earlier this year. You can check that out here. Birds on a Wire is contemporary women’s fiction (yes, Christian fiction) and about a biological mom and a foster mom. It is SO good.
8. Seriously one of my favorite new books. All We Thought We Knew by Michelle Shocklee had me totally HOOKED. Buy it, read it, buy it for someone on your Christmas list!
9. As a Canadian I found No Ocean Too Wide and No Journey Too Far by Carrie Turansky so interesting, so intriguing. Carrie did such a good job depicting the journeys of British orphans who came to Canada from 1869 to 1939. These novels are set in the early 1900s.
10. Christian rock star romance anyone? To Belong Together by Emily Conrad is book two in the Rhythms of Redemption Romances series. They’re all fantastic and if you haven’t tried Emily’s Christian contemporary romance novels you are missing out!
11. (Whoops I meant to stop at 10!) Finally, I’m reading Ambush of the Heart by Mary Connealy right now and it’s so good! Bring on the cowboys, danger, a brave heroine and I’m not sure what else yet because I still have more to read! (It’s a page turner!)
Your reader is also thirsty. This is my favorite tumbler. It can also be for hot drinks, but I keep mine for cold water. I’ve had mine for 4 years and hinting at my husband that I need a second one for when my purple one is dirty… (psst, honey there’s a plum colored one and an animal print one that look fun…)
Any of these books go great with chocolate and some variety of coffee or tea, depending on the reader.
(Honey, that’s chocolate almonds for me!)
